<< we USED to be the guys who gave IRAQ all the starter kits for Bio and Chemical weapons....
and now?

The problem with your statement is the word "we".

"We" changes with time. Different players, different administrators, different bad guys.

Of course we help bad guys sometimes, when the alternative is worse. Then things change. The world is complex, and most of our politicians, and most of the politicians of most foreign countries, are usually brain dead.

It is a miracle that America does as well as it does, and that so many countries have been restored to democracies since the end of WW II, thanks to America.

Blame politics because that is the source of all the root causes we are seeing played out right before our eyes. When Clinton was accused of aiding and abetting chinas space program, the dems chose to look the other way. Democrats controlled all the senate and house committees that made legislation for Reagan and Bush. Now the dems control nothing in the senate and house andyour mission is that of the conscious of the past?

Ok so what, as an Independent I can quite franly level eual charges on everything you select as your evidence. It's easy, when you look at the inside the beltway games, one quickly concludes that Politics is what it's always been, a game of self interest played out in pockets for pockets and about pockets.
