My favorite Campbell reference... I was struck by his concept of Other; how They are not like Us at all, but are evil, menacing and even less than human. Governments trying to enflame citizens toward war against the Other will resort to any form of propaganda to make us feel that we have nothing in common with the Other, how could we when they are pulling babies out of incubators and leaving them to die? The only way to deal with the Other is to kill them all, pull their evil colonies out by the roots. And be sure to trust what your government tells you, they know things about the Other that you don't.
