The Screw the US Act Part deux is bad on so many levels that I can't believe it is being seriously considered. This is going to set the stage to take away citizenship, then detain a person, all under the guise of this new law. This is bad, bad, bad.

Been giving some thought to possible reasons. It's easy to see Bush as a half-witted, half-cocked, chip on the shoulder guy simply plowing ahead without much thought. If so, we are in for some rough times.

Or, see him as an insider in all the right organizations, and he simply wants the oil, power, money, and his "morality" is a good act. If so, we are in for the unimaginable.

On the other hand, let's say his Christianity is sincere. Let's say he truly believes he has a purpose. Let's say it is God's plan to have him where he is. Let's say there is a pre-trib rapture (just hypothesizing here). Let's say we are close to the end of the age. If so, Bush is probably doing exactly what needs to be done to unfold God's plan. And if the main parts of his government are also Christian, the rapture would create a void which would easily help the anti-christ come in and fulfill the rest of his plan.

Just some thoughts. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Maybe just another war and life goes on for another 5,000 years, but I don't think so. Everything sure seems to be lining up for the solo of the "fat lady".

I remain,
