We haven't been a super-duper power long enough to have acquired a sense of humility to go along with all that force. Like the Australians have?? I just have to blame it on the public school systems and media propagandists of the western world... undermining any kind of common sense understanding of how human relations actually work between civilized and uncivilized people, and that sometimes incorrigble people have to be dealt with through violent means, no matter how detestable the prospect might be. Nobody thinks anything is worth fighting for any longer... ...except not fighting... At least until they start getting sniped at by a couple of sickos in the trunk of a car... THEN watch everyone start screaming for blood and quick and lethal punishment for the perpetrators.... Everybody's concerned about human rights around the world but few are willing to put their own lives and happiness at risk to achieve it. Hawk
