Hi Steve, I just got back from Skiing in Switzerland (Verbier-4 Valleys) or I would have responded sooner! Thanks for the link. Yup, it's a sorry state of affairs in the Comm IC sector. Like your article pointed out, there are too many players and too much ego to go around. I am very surprised by the lack of movement in the sector and I tend to agree with the premise that until we see some consolidation, the sector isn't going anywhere. Back on the oil front, it seems quite clear to this observer that our current administration could care less about the price of oil, regardless of the tax and strain it puts on the global economy. I had very high hopes for the Bush administration and I am extremely disappointed in what has transpired in so many different areas that I wouldn't know where to start my criticism. My guess is that we attack right around the 1st of March when the new moon gives our troops the strongest advantage. Until this mess is over with, NG and Oil will keep it's excessive war premium. At least the President's friends are getting rich. I guess that's what's really important these days... On the other hand, things have been going great for me, so I really have little reason to voice my complaints loudly. I hope all is well with you and that your investment decisions have been profitable. Of course, I hope the same holds true for all our old LTD friends. Michael EDIT: old modem speed grub 14.4K :)
