That's nonsense. My parents were there. Most Germans did not support Hitler's search and destroy policies. What's more, they were terrified to say anything anti-Hitler, even to their best friends or children for fear of being found out, charged with treason, and killed. Indeed, identical to what's happening in Iraq.

My grandmother's brother was a big machinery operator and was killed by his own country for refusing to bury victims at concentration camps who were still alive.

Isn't it amazing how short the memories are of the British. Without the strength of the United States, western Europe and Great Britain would not exist today in the democratic form we all are accustomed to.

How collectively shameful of the Brits that the US doesn't gain their full support.
