Ron- Thanks for your comments/ suggestions.

>>"Saying QTL *royalty* revenue would sound better IMHO."
Agreed, I noticed that this AM, also. The FY02 quarterly numbers pretty much reflected the annual average of $11.63($12.58, $12.53, $10.90, $11.08). I was originally thinking part of the fall off in the last two quarters of FY02 was due to lower royalty rates for Chinese domestic manufacture and sales. However, I don't believe domestic Chinese manufactures' have entered the CDMA market in a significant degree yet. I also think CFOE is correct in the lag of revenue recognition. The Dec qtr is $3.72 less than the FY02 average. $3.72 times 27 million chipsets equals $100 million potential upward adjustment in QTL EBT for the March quarter ($0.12/share in EBT)

Thanks- Jim
