There is no one grand scheme to guarantee investor success

I do not disagree.

I would just say that the better plans have exit plans, especially with regards to loss minimisation.
I would just, personally, not classify ignoring things as a sensible exit plan.

Even if you throw darts at a board, an exit plan for stop-losses will get you a lot further than simply praying.
Prayer - this is basically what ignoring reality boils down to. Faith that some external effect will resolve a situation, favourably, that you have abdicated responsibility from.

For me I just cover my downside, and let any upside look after itself. But we all have our styles.
Who knows? It may just work.

Good luck!

Ebay at 55 would be nice so please go do your work

Ebay will see 10.
Ebay has ZERO earnings after stock options are considered.
Anyone who considers EBAY a fundamental buy at 55 is totally off their ever loving rocker. If you want to discuss TA that is another matter but you are addressing FA and it has hardly ever been worse and has no signs of getting better for a long long time.

Pray tell what other bargains do you see?
