csco has 49k puts at 15 and 41k puts at 12 1/2. 107k calls at 15...i would put max pain at 15 based on that. as for where the smart money resides...no idea.

intc...huge bets placed on the long (call) side so my eyeball would call 17 1/2 as max pain since that would decimate most of the options players.

msft...50 seems about right

since i don't play individual equities that much anymore i don't pay much attention to thier options. QQQ max pain at 25 holds more significance for me.

not sure if that adds anything. seems to me that all max pains are at higher levels, at least be my read. admittedly, max pain isn't one of my main indicators,but i do follow.
