Oh you mean like Ted Turner who says if only we understood the joys of communism while he buys up all the available land he can get his selfish hands on.

Oh you mean like Barbara Streisand who demands that you and I not drive an SUV while she drives a mobile home because she is terrified at the thought of having to urinate in a public restroom where she actually might have to come in contact with a third worlder.

no you guys just went into hysterics because I implied that uneducated (and in some cases, even illiterate) workers can succeed and prosper in the service industries.

The prior posts were trying to imply that within the US economy there was nowhere for these people which is complete hogwash. The oldline factory jobs on the assembly line that used to exist in the 50s have gone, but service businesses more than make up for the shortfall.

I have no idea why you think this pov is elitist. Unless you think it takes an IQ of 150 to do an oil change and if thats the case we should outsource it too.
