Joe, you are missing it. Islam is about destroying itself because its core belief does not conform to the mores of human dynamics. The extremism is all about that lack of fundamental conviction and the expression of what a human being is all about in nature. It is greedy, passionate and stupid but when given certain rights it flourishes and grows and becomes hugely creative.

Islam is repressive and fosters corruption with no checks and balances by the populace. Islam is a history of failures, military and intellectual and otherwise, due to its dogma about science, technology, women and the simple concept of democracy and freedom of expression. The mullahs are not priests in the sense that you may know the idea.

Islam is a form of communist theology cleverly disguised as religion. For all these reasons Islam will implode but we may have a struggle in the meantime. Iraq should not have poor people. Saudi Arabia should not have poor people. But they do have many poor people. Saudi Arabia has the resources to properly educate its people and make the break from a resource dependent economy but it has not happened. Why?
