Not a lot, except in the sense that if Panic hits delta hedging kicks in and selloffs or panic buying on the way back up get extreme. Outside of panic, max pain usually hits its target because there is $ to be made when it does.

Bears have taken a lot of profits here and I do not see a lot to hold us up other than QQQ's. This could go either way. Most of the time I think that, we hit max pain anyway.
The months in which Max pain has failed over the last couple years are February, June, Sept, October, November.
Feb, June, Sept, on the downside and Oct, Nov on the upside.
Last year it was June, Sept, Oct, Nov if I am not mistaken.
