The mistake is calling it a "war on drugs" it isn't. If you have a dirty toilet bowl, do you declare war on it ( dirty toilets) and clean it once - or does it require cleaning on a regular basis?

How can you possibly argue that making drugs legal, will take the profit out of it? Prove it! Did making Opium legal in China (in the 19th Century) take the profit out of its importation?

I think this statement shows your naivity regarding drugs. And it is a dangerous way of thinking imo. If you have kids, I hope you are not teaching them that taking drugs is the key to happiness. If you are, you are wrong, and should be jailed.
