Not all are as appreciative as you. Because most people want to propagandize and vent, not engage in no-holds barred debates over foreign policy aimed at getting to something that approximates "truth".. Btw, I've been spending the evening catching up on some other threads, and came across this link: Message 18557668 Japan is one of my "pet" interests over the past several years (again because of demographics and how it impacts their economy).. I think I'll have to pick up this book and give it a good reading.. The review at the following link indicates they are offering some interesting analysis related to how Japan's economy is currently ticking (as in time bomb), and the ramifications it will have for the US and the rest of the world. brook.edu Hawk
