Futures are a trap for ALL except those who are in some business where they need to guarantee the future price, either because they are producers or consumers of the commodity. Such people know what the costs and benefits are of getting this insurance. All others are amateurs. I have yet to hear of anybody not fitting the above description who made money for decades. It's simply unlikely. I'd say grab your profit and run to the nearest exit.
