Kumar. You said...." I dont have the answer to your question on why moderate muslim folks dont make a noise. I have family that is muslim (I am not), and when I asked them, the best answer I got was "we are trying hard to keep our community from moving over to extremism". May be not good enough for US folks, but there is an effort being made.".....

I am not sure if you are talking about a community in the USA or elsewhere but in any case WHY would a community even be thinking about becoming extremist. I mean if they are so called moderate muslim why would they even consider violence. If it is a American community you are speaking of that would be very very scary.

"we are trying hard to keep our community from moving over to extremism".

If we get another attack, you might advise them to publicly denounce the Terrorists. The American Muslim community needs to make this very clear, IMO. They haven't.

There were a lot of German Jews in the Fairfax section of LA in 1940 who followed the triumph of Hitler with secret delight. I am sure there were a lot of American Muslims who deplored 911 who were secretly delighted to see a Muslim group win. That is just human nature with any group.
