The War between Iraq & Iran drained each in the area ----> $500bil ... not to mention the loss of 600,000 lives in the bloodiest long drawn out battle/holocaust of all the world's recent memory. And how many billions is Saddam personally worth all during this time of sanctions? If he was a corporate CEO in America he would be doing much hard time .

CJP~ Evidently you are right...Not one of the people who think as Patricia does has provided guidance as to why she thinks Saddam is "OK" for having defied the UN and world body for the last 12 years. Rather, it seems she and several here try to make excuses for OBL, Saddam, and other dictators who make and buy the most vile weapons in the world, and then use them on their own people. I wonder: Picture a large building with hundreds of people in it, and thousands in the neighborhood. What if any of us saw someone trying to light a fire on that building, and just stood watching, didn't try to do anything about it, because they didn't see any flames, or the long dynamite string ..... The fire and explosions end up killing hundreds of people. Doesn't that make the people who just stood by, watching, because nothing had happened yet, accomplices to the murders? Especially if those same people didn't even call for help, or try to help the potential victims themselves?? >>>>>>>>>>Patricia must think its OK that Saddam chose to let 1.5M of his own people die (500,000 of them children) rather than disarm after his failed attempt to conquer Kuwait.
