Yes, it is not unusual to see some swans around here, although I have not run across any lately. Pretty near me, there are various corporate headquarters (Marriot, Lockhead Martin, some satellite companies, I have not memorized them all). Around Thanksgiving, it seemed that a pond on one of their campuses was a prime stop for migrating geese. I kept seeing a bunch hanging around there, if I had to go back that way, happy as clams. Reminded me of stopping at a Holiday Inn when I was little, for family vacations........
