my personal guess : 1st half of March. Its 'new moon' time then. and we all know how effective it is for air strikes in darkness.

Paul,
War is indeed a horrible business. I was away over the weekend and have noticed a few posts talking about French- German airlifting troops to prevent a US attack. I assume this is thread speculation only. All i could find was the french proposal for 300 inspectors and Blue helmets. mike

PS To get France/Germany onboard, we can promise them post-war maintenance of their interests in iraq as well as sending over Kenny Lay, Bernie Ebbers and the boys to do the shredding of the documents that make them culpable in saddams wmd program in the first place.
