Don't think they have much choice. They are going to have to find ways to inflate out the multiple deficits. Steve Roach at Morgan has been avocating a dollar drop to avoid deflation.

Gold down to 350s, hold till 330s.
Continue to short more oil, hope it reaches to 40.

Nas(1278), we didn't see it rebounds with such oversold condition, which translate into more down side. Should have sold it at 1300 with no loss but under the special circumstance (war at hand), will hold till war break out (80% chance) or resolve peacefully which ever comes first.

(started to accumulate CIT at 17 and FCEL at 5.3)
