Februar 2003, 17:47 Uhr Außenhandelsverband: Deutsche Irak-Haltung schädigt Geschäft mit USA (AFP) Die ablehnende deutsche Haltung Deutschlands zu einem Irak-Krieg droht den Handel mit den USA zu schädigen: "Die deutsche Regierung kann damit nichts verhindern, aber wir können dabei nur verlieren", sagte der Präsident des Bundesverbands des Deutschen Groß- und Außenhandels (BGA), Anton Börner, dem "Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger" (Mittwochausgabe). Durch das gestörte Verhältnis mit Washington rechnet der Verband nach seinen Angaben mit einem zehnprozentigen Umsatzrückgang im USA-Geschäft. Angesichts der deutschen Abhängigkeit vom Export rechnet Börner zudem mit einem Rückgang des Wachstums um 0,3 Prozentpunkte des Bruttoinlandsprodukts.
