Each 1% of 1,300 million people is 13 million people Bill. Roughly 300 million live in major urban areas. About ten percent of the people in urban areas are "well-off" -- they can certainly afford to have a Starbucks coffee - the question is do they really want to drink coffee at all? BTW -- take all the numbers in the paper you cited and multiply them by three if you want to get the PPP equivalent in US dollars.
