C2. Folks here may be running too fast on the out of nato, out of UN themes. Quick victory in iraq is vindication for the US and in the world that emerges post iraq, UN and Nato may be able to be fixed. I am not ready to throw it all away because there is a tin horn in france trying to be de Gaulle and an opportunist in germany throwing away 58 years of trans atlantic unity. What about the rest of Nato members and the bulk of UN membership? They are/will be our allies. mike
