You showed nothing of the sort. An "average" in a city of 20 million means nothing when there is a) high income disparity b) a high proportion of unreported income and c) a PPP index of 3 times the offical exchange rate -- get a clue Bill, there are people in China with money to spend. A dozen ski resorts openned this year around Beijing -- better tell them that that your "average" Chinese cannot afford to ski. Perhaps you need to update your experience from a quater century ago in Hong Kong -- good grief.
