Yea, it makes sense you wouldn't mind long bonds and dislike gold if you don't see a dollar crisis [Prechter]. I also do if for no other reason than economists have worried for decades about the potential for a run on a [$US] reserve currency when things are dicey. I don't see how they could become any more so, but time will tell. I also expect GOLD to do great at some point... I could certainly see it get whacked under certain circumstances, but believe it would be a buy.
