< industrial demand..>
I consider myself 'wet behind the ears' when it comes to base metal investing-

However, since investing in base metals back in the mid -90's, I find myself questioning when or if we will see a return to previous highs for base metals.
Since 94 the world has seen strong metal demand, ( LME inv on zinc fell below critical 6 week supply) robust econimies, low LME stockpiles all the while price errosion.

I an tending to believe that we are in for a long, long deflationary period of below normal base metal prices, decrease demand and anemic mkt conditions...

What do you see is needed to reverse ww deflation, increase demand and regain pricing power for metals?

( I am sure base metals will be in favor again- but if it takes 35 yrs for that to occure- My grandkids will be the ones one the beach earning 10%- not me...:)
