I have been to the Institute for Advanced Study, which was practically built for Einstein, to visit a friend doing research in the history of astronomy. While there, I met a woman professor from New Zealand, who specialized in Medieval Studies, largely matters revolving around the Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, such as the confluence of Byzantine, Muslim, and Catholic culture in Sicily, or the struggle with the Papacy.
