Bill,

Glass technologies take time. Float glass was first developed in the early 60s and licensed and didn't become standard for 17 years.

The time it took to develop Land's patent to a workable film (approx. 30 years) is not unusual. It is also not unusual for the conservative glass industry to take its time before adapting to a new technology.

FWIW EC projects for windows started before REFR even developed the film and so far they have no viable products in the window market.

Joke all you want but you are dead wrong about REFR and the future of SPD. Bill is too or he wouldn't be covering.
