Yo Chuck!

I'm up for the road trip! E's Lil old town will never be the same if'n all her "computer friends" come a callin.... hehehe

I don't think they even have a hotel there. We would have to stay with all her and Schweeties relatives, ya know they're all related right? That's why I'm seriously praying baby girl's new man is not from town....

;-)

And that means that sometime next year, you'll likely take on the scholarly aura of a grandmother.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!!!!!!! Practically each and every "congrat" that has been received has mentioned me fast becoming a grandma. HUMPH! Princess just graduated (again)after ANOTHER 11 months in college in order to persue her coveted career...and you think she's gonna make me a grandma before she conquers that field?? Oh, nay nay, foolish ones.<gg>
Well, we still can hope. (I'll leave that one to each of you to decipher!)

Anyway...sure, all of y'all are invited. No, there is no hotel in this town, but there ARE hotels in this vicinty.
She's gotta lock down a date first. (Ironically, she's looking at 1 day after our 28th anniversary!)

As for the young man...No, he is from a completely different background (city boy, private schools, calm/laid back nature <g>). Very nice, very nice looking, no overalls (he's a khaki man)...owns his own formalwear business and is quite successful at it (he could sell red popscicles in August to a woman in white gloves); huge sports fan (a plus????? Jury is still out...wedding has to NOT interfere with football season...grrrr!); NO, they won't be living with us as he just signed a contract on a new townhouse in Franklin; no still, but he does drink beer...yes, he will make us proud, and yes, he does know the world revolves around our lil princess. and YES, as you said "he'd better"!!!

Sooooooooooo...next 20 questions???

Thanks for the congrats...I'm thinking positive. This is all new to me, and gonna be something to pull the "wedding of the century" off by mid July...but it will be done. :)
