Yes, they did. I only parroted it because - at the time - it would have been annoying to be involved in any litigation with the crooks. Even though my attorney and I were confident we would prevail in court (if it came to that)...the time and expense involved were simply not worth it.

Now that it is clear that Valence's crooked management did indeed mislead investors...I don't think they would want to play that game.

There is also one more possibility, which I didn't bother exploring at the time - but in retrospect - I should have.

The threat was emailed to me and it was cced to top managemnt at Valence. I assumed the email was genuine. it is completely possible it was generated by their promoters or Valence shills.

of course - this is nothing new to me. I've been threatened many times by frauds such as Valence. i typically have my attorney fire a polite letter back, or I simply tell them to go f--k themselves.
