I don't understand the need for U-2 flights. What if they find the trucks and decontaminant units Powell showed in his photographs?

What then? Iraq then says "This is all trumped up. Inspectors, you are spies. Get out." This is what happened in 1998.

Why do we have to "catch them" with the weapons? They gave us a 12,000 page document and they =still= would not answer, in 12,000 pages, what Hans Blix said were "hundreds of outstanding issues." HUNDREDS! Even he said more inspectors would do NOTHING. What could it do? Find everything by weight of numbers?

They are not going to give up these weapons. They exist. Why would anyone, anyone, with any sense, think they don't exist? The UN inspectors search for FOUR YEARS and still didn't find the abandoned chicken farm used as a front for bioweapons production. Only Saddam's son-in-law's info allowed the inspectors to find it.

I like the head of security of Jordan. He told the two son-in-laws NOT to go back to Iraq ("all is forgiven" Saddam told the son-i-laws) from Amman Jordan.

"I told them they would not last a week if they went back to Iraq" he said. "I was wrong."

"They were dead in five days." They were boiled in hot oil.

What you don't understand, Softech, is that while Bush is an idiot, Saddam is criminally insane. Much much worse.
