My neighbor just sold his house and pocketed $500k of the gain TAX FREE.
He owns a couple of other houses too. He's already a millionare. Wasn't that $500k TAX FREE a "gift to the rich"?
Clinton signed the law that allowed this, where was the screaming "gift to the rich then"?
Now, I sure would like a tax break for selling stocks I've owned for many years...
