Holding Our Breath for the Oversold Bounce
Tuesday February 11, 10:59 am ET

By Ken Wolff, Special to RealMoney.com

The lower the market falls, the more strongly anticipation builds for an oversold bounce. The mounting pressure almost feels like a beach ball held under water. Fear has been holding it below the surface, but greed begins to take hold as we see the upside opportunity.

Two things could release the ball. One would be a positive catalyst. Anything that would instantly relieve fear and offer us hope would probably be met with a clear and readable climactic bottom.
