You have stated the case and the solution is there.

Follow through on your resolutions or become irrelevant. I think the we need to stop our funding of the UN the second they prove that they are indeed irrelevant and that happens by not following through as in right now IMO.

Hey... I am no fan of the UN, as far as the UN goes... I agree 100 % and it is way over due... kick them out NOW, never mind waiting to see if they do this or the other.

BUT

That still does not justify a unilateral invasion, mainly because of the consequences already discussed...

That should not stop other means to continue pressing on so Iraq should comply. and eventually have the other members CONTRIBUTE to the cost of this campaign...

I just do not buy that the invasion is necessary because we are at the imminent risk of terrorists...

I wonder which threat is larger... that of the terrorists or that of the war-mongers that will affect the economy in a way possibly far larger than any terrorist could... I insist that we can continue attacking the terrorists in the way that it has been done so far.

The threat of terrorists is there... Iraq or no Iraq... I can appreciate that... but the invasion of Iraq (as currently intended) is madness...
