What do you think?

I think our security should outweigh concerns over divisiveness on foreign fronts.

The major problem here is that you've bought hook line and sinker that Iraq poses a security risk to the US, I haven't.

Think about it. The divisiveness you are so concerned about is actually pretty trivial compared to the security risk we face -- a few countries and various people throughout the world simply don't want what they think is an unnecessary war. Unnecessary to them, anyway. They'll get over it. And if they don't, what choice do we have?

You know......people keep trivializing the opposition.....its much bigger than you seem to think.

Are you seriously saying you don't think S.H. wouldn't jump at the chance to give A.Q. a few million doses of [insert any WMD here]? Everybody KNOWS S.H. has WMD, and he is obviously determined to hang on to them for some reason.

How would I know......how would you know?

Even if you think Iraq wouldn't collaborate with terrorists, what makes you so sure? IMO the risk of it is enough to take drastic measures, especially after experiencing the horror of 9/11 and how some people would LOVE to stick it to us with any WMD they could get their hands on.

I am saying there is no evidence......so why are we is a war necessary.

I just can't understand how people can hang on to 'inspections' or 'containment' or whatever 'nonviolent' option dejour. The only way to solve the problem is for Iraq to completely and totally disarm before our eyes. They had their chance to do just that. And now we're supposed to think that they are disarming because they'll allow U2 flights?

C'mon!

Sorry, that's not what Bush wants..........he wants regime change. Talking about WMD was smokescreen to get us to the water, now he wants us to drink the water which consists of regime change.
