Welcome back Jay. I'm okay with you doing double inverted straddle put-calls and stock purchases of QCOM. It's not as though you are biting the end off my carrots or getting away with my kumara. On the contrary, it's a compliment. Thank you.

For some strange reason though, it makes me wonder whether I shouldn't sell a tranche of them. I did buy them when they were $4 [and less], so I suppose I shouldn't complain that you've paid over 8x as much.

<I always get an inkling of nervous feel whenever I am thinking satisfied > I know the feeling.

Thanks for reducing the volatility of QCOM. That's a noble task. Not everyone is suited to it, so you deserve some reward [if you do a good job]. You are like the village policeman, stopping the silly people bidding the prices too high and courageously underpinning the price should it fall too low.

I'm less brave than you, so I will step in and help reduce volatility AFTER you have done your job and taken your rewards and only if nobody else is prepared to buy at horribly low prices - I'm the cowardly, but somewhat noble buyer of last resort. Well, somebody has to do it.

Congratulations on being prepared to act on smaller waves, with less amplitude and therefore less profit for your risk.

Happy sheep year! We have a big lantern and end of new year festival in Albert Park this weekend, complete with talented dragon troupe. Last year's dragon was only a little fella, unlike a couple of years ago.
