We should work towards a military alliance with the kiwis, the danes, the mexicanos, the dutch ... and anybody else who chooses to join a club lacking the hubris of empire and with genuine interests of defense at heart ... never mind the UN and NATO except as places to discuss issues if as and when it serves a valid purpose, because both of those are dominated by the planetary hegemon that threatens us far more than does any bunch of demented ragheads .... when that p.h. chooses to act honourably it will prove productive for us to permit it to support us, and when it acts otherwise it can go piss up a rope ....
