Sand, It seems as if NASA has become a nest of featherbedders and ass coverers.
The brightest minds do not go there, they can not get hired and there is a waiting list recalling laid off union men who get hired before any bright young men get a chance.
Creative thought is stifled and a conservative mindset rules.

Is this my idea? No, comments from others.
What happened? Where did they go?

I see absolutely nothing wrong with cutting back on our military spending a bit, and placing those funds into our space program.
As for our dreams of becoming "the conqueror", I believe that will ultimately backfire on us.... History never repeats exactly, but it sure does tend to rhyme.
