I do declare........... 15:17 ET More on Iraqi missiles : Reuters reports that missile experts called in by U.N. arms inspectors have concluded that Iraq's Al Samoud 2 missile has a longer operational range than is permissible under U.N. resolutions, and that the missile's engines should probably be destroyed; diplomats said the development was likely to provide new fuel to the U.S. campaign to convince the 15-nation Security Council that Iraq is in violation of council resolutions requiring Iraq to disarm. The problem is that every day we hear more lies & deceit from Saddam. He & his henchmen have repeatedly declared Iraq has already disarmed & UNSCOM will find no evidence of WMD in Iraq. However, UNSCOM inspectors keep finding more evidence of a viable WMD program despite Iraq's obvious attempts to thwart the inspectors rather than active cooperation. Iraq's clearly deceptive/false 12,000 page declaration failed to mention any of the banned weapons discovered by the current UNSCOM inspectors, including today's banned missile...... oh & let's not forget the 3,000 or so pages of WMD documents that were hidden in a residence that Iraqi guards almost got past inspectors........ So I guess we should believe Saddam when he says he isn't harboring terrorists in Iraq & there's no way he will arm them with WMD. And some folks want us to believe that all along the Bush Admin have been liars fabricating all these (now proven to be true) allegations about Iraq & their WMD program. Amazing what folks try to pass off as fact/truth these days. Seems to me that politics & agendas are more important than defending the US against terrorism. It would be laughable if it wasn't so down right scary. OOF Ö¿Ö
