On Monday, Iraq told UN arms inspectors that it would unconditionally accept flights over its territory by surveillance planes, including U2 planes, French Mirage jets and Russian-Made Antonov aircraft. "All the planes used by UNMOVIC and the International Atomic Energy Agency will be allowed," said Iraq's ambassador to the United Nations Mohamed al-Douri. UNMOVIC is the UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission, which is charged with supervising the destruction of Iraq's chemical and biological weapons and ballistic missiles programs.
