I answered your point accurately on the 1st post. The jist of it is I think the affluent pay their fair share in America, and you feel they don't. I can take any statistic you show on your behalf and show one that proves my point. The long and the short of it is that the top 10% (that disgust you) pay most of the taxes and the bottom 50% pay in the range of 3% or 4%. And imo the ones that make the most, invest the most, and giving them some money back will allow the economy to grow. The other side (you) believe that taking from these guys and giving money to people who pay no taxes will help the economy. I think that is stupid, and is put forth by people (the democratic party) that have a vested interest in appeasing these people so they can get some votes.

Do you think the repubs hold their position so the top 10% can elect them? Like your argument, that makes no sense.
