the terror threats for revenge can be very real

Such threats have been spawned since late 1970's by covert US involvement, as well as overt involvement in blood feuds wherever they can be found, such as Latin America, M.E.

The military needs an enemy to justify its growth. This is the engine of worldwide belligerency since the end of WWII, to magnify threats, support and create them where necessary.

The biggest threats to the US have been the inauguration of Bush and subsequent political and military effects -- the stand-down of military at 9am on 9/11/01, the anthrax killings, sniper show, Wellstone's death, bogus "dirty bomb" announcement on June 10th to avoid unanswered questions, and ongoing terrorist threats. All of these incidents and threats have had specific political goals, and will, if necessary be carried to the extent of martial law and complete expunging of history of Bush involvement.

Likely the next incident will be a dirty bomb outside of the US, and complete cratering of the stock market and US economy.
