NEW YORK, Feb 12 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve said on
Wednesday it added $4.746 billion in temporary reserves to the
banking system through a round of eight-day fixed-system
repurchase agreements.
The Fed accepted the following collateral:
-- $4.723 billion in Treasuries, stop-out 1.22 percent.
-- $0.023 billion in Agencies, stop-out 1.26 percent.
At the time of the operation, federal funds were trading at
1.25 percent, matching the central bank's target for the rate.
