Yes staggering like Lyndon Johnson's war on poverty which has cost us beyond what this war effort will. The war on poverty has been an absolute and total failure and has simply resulted in the staggering growth of government and has not made 1 % in improvement in the rate of poverty. It has just been a transfer from the productive class to the bureaucracy. Worse it has taken a segment of our society and bound them in chains
