And the answer is that if you wanted to replace a company like LSI, you couldn't do so for less than about $6.00

If it is in India or China or Taiwan, you can do it for a lot less than 6 bucks.

As such LSI is a great buy at this price.

For trading purposes, maybe (though I would wait for the S&P to retest its Oct 2002 lows, by which time we could pick this up in the 3.50 range). But as a long-term buy-and-hold, almost certainly not.

Woo-hoo! Right at the 52-week lows. And the fact that it has been battering at this mark for so long usually means that the support will give in (and some of Addi's friends will desert him!) taking the stock to 3.50 or so, before it makes a meaningless (for those who bought it at 10 or higher) rally of about a buck or so.

And, upon review, Jock, does the move of LSI above 6 cause you to alter any of your comments? (BTW, kudos, for several very astute calls)
