Clinton lied about getting a blow-job. Bush is using deception to drag us into a war that is not in our best interests. At least Clinton did not get anybody killed when he acted in a dishonorable manner.

Bush had a high approval rating after 9/11 and it has been down and choppy more recently. Most Americans would be shocked if they truly believed that the Bush Administration was being deceptive to create a pretext for war. Bush put his most credible person on the firing line -- Powell -- and he now has Powell saying things that really demean the man's integrity -- he is proving to be a loyal soldier, and this lends some credibility to Bush -- short-term. War is coming -- it will be left to history to judge Bush. In the meantime, people will pay for his mistakes with their lives.

his approval rating is falling.

And since you are from California I know you probably remember 98 in California. The polls were predicting a republican landslide. What happened was a democratic landslide. I don't think even ONE republican was elected, even hugely unpopular people like Barbara Boxer got another six years. Thats what will happen to Bush this time around. Because people like me who are fence sitters think he has destabilized the world and has all these countries on edge, and caused even more resentment against the US which will probably lead to EVEN MORE terrorism down the line.

I will be very surprised if Bush wins another term, the swing voters are going to nail him to the wall. All that can derail Bush's defeat imo is stupidity on the part of the dems... you know sortof the situation we had in California with Gray Davis, the republicans put up someone who obviously couldn't win... if the dems do that in 04 - put up a tax and spend liberal in the tradition of Nancy Pelosi- then Bush will win but if its Kerry/Lieberman or some other fiscal moderate then Bush has a fight on his hands.

The fact that the talking heads on TV keep hyping Bush's approval ratings (which btw are tabulated from LIKELY voters that is the problem) it tells me they are in denial.
