Ted, speaking of France and Germany, you know things are really bad when even the top Democrat in the House International Relations Committee says this: The House committee's top Democrat, Rep. Tom Lantos of California, said in remarks prepared for the hearing that he was "particularly disgusted by the blind intransigence and utter ingratitude" of France, Germany and Belgium, which have blocked a U.S.-backed plan to improve Turkey's defenses against any attack from neighboring Iraq. The three countries, which favor giving U.N. weapons inspectors more time in Iraq, see the plan as making war more likely. Let me tell you something.......I think the Dems should be taken out and shot one by one. They are almost as bad as Bush in this situation. I have not heard one of them stand up and ask what the hell are you doing? These are our long time allies. Why are you blowing them off? They should be ashamed of themselves. Never have I seen American leadership on the national level to be more bankrupt. Apparently, D. Ray is right on that score.....the Dems are too afraid to think for themselves. This two party system needs an overhaul if this is the best it can produce. ted
