<Can't wait to hear the German and French proposal to disarm Iraq.>

It consists of letting Saddam have every weapon that the inspectors cannot find. Nice game, except that like in Vegas, the house always wins, and Saddam wants to be the house.

The German/French proposal will be something along the 'lotto' lines of "you can't win if you don't play" (we can't find anything if we aren't inspecting) and if we buy more tickets (inspectors) we might hit the jackpot!

Sad thing is, just like the lotto, even though the odds are ridiculous, many people will fall for it hook line and sinker.

Tenchusatsu,

re:"U.N. inspectors to destroy first banned Iraq weapons"?

Saw that, but those where earlier finds from the 1990's and probably represent the last of Saddams banned weapons - right? <g>

re:It consists of letting Saddam have every weapon that the inspectors cannot find.

Well the French are good at putting Blue hats on the ground and then getting killed. We'll see.
