15:00 ET Qualcomm: Lehman comments on CDMA inventory talk (QCOM) 36.71 -0.93: --Update-- According to Lehman, at an investor conference today representatives from Motorola commented on the outlook for the handset market in China. MOT management suggested that CDMA inventories in the region may be approaching around 10 weeks, above more normalized levels of 6-8 weeks. Firm is aware that MOT comments could place some near-term pressure on QCOM. However, firm is maintaining its estimate for QCOM's shipments into China in 2003 of 14 mln chipsets. Lehman continues to estimate that with QCOM 100% booked on its MarQ, estimate of $0.35 could prove conservative. (also see 13:38 comment)
