Europe and I will never agree with you entirely because neither of us believe that Saddam is the real problem.

Which Europe? Old Europe, which includes France and Germany (whose butts we saved and don't appear to remember it), or New Europe, in which France and Germany are operating unilaterally against the rest of NATO?

Old Europe? With over 200 million people; has nukes and an assorted weapons; strong, well educated, prosperous.......that's the one!

And you do understand......the EU/Germany/France don't like Rumsfield and Bush so Blair was to keep everyone in line and happy. But I think Blair got tied up with problems at home.

Europe DOES agree that Saddam is the real problem, and that is why they are WITH the United States, not against us. Only these two European renegades who have political interests in Iraq are protesting our actions.

Two renegades? Hardly. However, they are the two most important countries in Europe.....with most of the wealth, industry and armaments. In fact, Germany's Bundesbank became the Central Bank of the EU.

This 'problem' is not as small as you seem to think. Bush has forced the EU into flexing its muscles. We may be seeing the birth of another superpower.

And don't forget Russia is now an auxilary member of NATO.
